ZENITH Defy Gauss
Description
Rare ZENITH Defy Gauss with original crown from 1970. This Defy is specially designed to withstand high radiation and other magnetic fields. Gauss refers to the unit in which magnetic flux density is measured, named after the German mathematician and physicist Carl Friederich Gauss. The watch is made in limited edition and is equipped with a unique inner case that shields the 2562 movement from magnetic fields (photos on request). Only 550 of the model with a black dial were made. Furthermore, the watch has a typical 70ties design -octagonal case- and an original Zenith tapered bracelet (with extra link in stock). The caliber 2562PC, is characterized by the 28.800 high beat rate.
